Repeat that …

Think about that one commercial you saw over and over again, for example, Frosted Flakes and Tony the Tiger saying “They’re great!” Do you remember what happened after seeing that commercial a million times? You learned all the words, said the words every time you saw the commercial, you knew the brand, you never forgot the name, and you were probably instantly hungry for a bowl of Frosted Flakes cereal.

How did that influence your desire to have that product? If you were like me growing up and after seeing that commercial repeatedly, you convinced your parents to buy Frosted Flakes because Tony the Tiger said “They’re great!”

Reflecting on that commercial, if you are a business owner and are likely working very hard to influence your audience to buy your product and/or services, then you can see how using repetition can work very effectively in influencing new business. The key is creating a strategy with a memorable message.
